I know what your sayin but was more concentrating on the G trade and what we could get out of it and how to regain a 1st line centre
The season after (19/20) I would expect Lindblom and Rubtsov to be fully top 6 players and point producers, pushing coots back to his 3c spot. I would expect chlapik to be pushing for top 6 mins as well. Plus whoever we draft with the 17' and 2x 18' 1st round picks i would expect at least 2 to be forwards and at least 1 pure goalscorer in there. That would be the depth.

What do you think of the trades are they fair?

I dont see the point in trading for Tavares when we are not contenders, and his play doesn't improve our chances drastically. We will be serious contenders when Tavares is an UFA. Also dont understand the Weise buyout, would rather have MacDonald bought out, regardless of the small cap hit that he will have in a couple of years.

I'm not buying anyone out it's pointless given as you say we are not contenders or struggling for cap space! Tavares is a guy who can put up point any which way, he is a proven goalscorer and playmaker, and with voracek on his wing he could hit the 40 goal mark and help improve konecny's game and get him to 50 points sooner rather than later. Granted the contract might be a bit long, how bout I change it from 8 to 6 year but increase to 9.2mil
