2017-18 Top 6

Initial Creation Date: Mar. 28, 2017

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
As much as I Love Guentzel and Sprong's potential, I would hate to put all my chips in on them as top6 roles this quickly. I think acquiring an underrated winger with a cap hit somewhere between 3.5-4.25mil would be a nice buffer. You can also scramble the lines and they would be effective in a 3rd line role.

I think Bonino is due for a raise, as he is playing his best hockey right when it matters most again. No telling what happens in the postseason with all the injuries, but if they can pull out another deep run and Bonino continues to push possession numbers, I say give that man his money.

Hate to see Flower go more than anything, But I don't see Vegas moving forward with any of the other tandem options.

REMINDER: I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING I JUST LIKE TO DREAM.

With John Gibson, Why would the ducks want Jarry? They are looking to get a scoring forward for one of their young defenseman not trade a scorer away. Silfverberg isn't exactly underrated.
Michale stone is plaing well for calgary and will not be taking a 50% paycut to sign with the pens. He is already making 2mil so will likely command more.
Johnson would be a very good backup. Keeping bonino at a reasonable price is key

I never took into consideration Stone's retained salary, I thought that his cap hit of 1.2 with the Flames seemed low. And this is me hoping that the Ducks start selling since their window is shortening. I do think Jarry would be a good piece, but it is still early to tell.

BM won't sell for a while. Silfverberg has been playing great with Kesler and Cogs and as long as we have the cap space I am sure BM will keep him around until we have to rebuild. Adding as well we don't need Jarry and trying to sweeten the deal with Pouliot won't help. We have a ton of young d-men, we don't need anymore.

Flower won't go to Vegas either. You will have to buy him out or trade him to a team he would like to go to.

guentzel is part of one of the best statistical lines in history.

so the whole concept here is flawed.
