Description

Preds cannot afford elite player at TDL. It is really hard to believe that GMDP will do it. I think he still believes in his idea of ", competitive rebuild".
Reach playoffs and let's see what's happens - his stratagy. And some depth pieces should help in playoffs.

Here is the best possible variants at the market.
Old friend Jarny. He is pretty solid last season, as well as earlier.
Geekie - good young and physical 4th line center. Should be good in Hynes's system.
De Hann - big and experienced 8th defensemen for the deep playoff run.

Novak - Geekie is pretty much a wash. Just depends on what you want stylistically. Value should be pretty even between the two.

Jarnkrok - a 2nd should cover his acquisition

Don’t see the need to add Davies

Why pay a 3rd for someone to sit in the pressbox? Especially since he’s getting 5.4M in actual cash this year. That’s a ton of money to spend on someone that only sees the ice of injuries occur

1 injury of LHD and he is no longer men in the pressbox. Money doesn't really matter here, since Preds have tons of cap space.

Personally don’t think the difference between Geekie and Novak is Davies. Geekie has more experience but Novak is producing at a slightly higher rate.
