Do you think using emojis strengthens your argument?
Anyway, this offer equates to a 1st, a 3rd, a mediocre young roster player, and some fluff/cap dumps. Ya, every team beats that, and i would hope you realize there is room between that junk, and four firsts.
At face value, he should net a return as good, or better than eichel.
Then factor in that most teams can find a way to absorb 4.6, while few could absorb 10, and all of a sudden there are a lot more teams bidding. Then factor in that chychrun doesn’t need some surgery that most of the teams in the league wouldn’t approve, and there are even more teams bidding.
Chychrun, if he is truly made available would be one of the most valuable assets on the market in the cap era. A return should look something like a 1st, a true top prospect, and a solid roster player on their ELC, plus either a 2nd or a 1st depending on the strength of the other assets.
I think there might be a direct negative correlation between emojis used and strength of argument.
Emojis (
) strengthen the fun I am having with reacting to your downtalking xD and if your opinios on arguments are as those on hockey ... please keep them to yourself ... not really needed in hockey trade discussions
On the other hand ... if you would approach such discussions with a positive attitude and help change or upgrade them ince you are heree ... the discussion might actually lead somewhere meaningful.
I understand fully how a bidding war could get out of hand... but the thing you forgot is no GM is gonna bid like no tomorrow especially with the current climate of GM firings.... 4 in last couple of months? So please do not underestimate the conservativism of current GMs. Nobody will give you 2 1sts just like that
. Either contending teams already dont have them or the middling teams are too scared.
Also trading away the best player in the deal usually wont bring back what he is really worth (I think you should already know that if you follow hockey for a longer while and ,,hockey trades,, are rare nowadays so dont expect already contending teams trading away valuable roster pieces. If nobody screws up that is.
I agree he is worth a lot ... BUT ... I am still waiting for the concrete offer .... it takes some time to put up but I am sure you can manage to find a team with all those pieces just waiting to get rid of them ... with a big hole at top 4LD position.
Or are you starting to see the difficulty with your asking price?
Till you find a proper team with all the pieces and a REAL NEED for top4 LD on (very nice) 4,6M contract ... dont waste my time darling.
(even though I am having good fun with such an EXPERT :O)
Oh and since you like emojis and I am a rather smiley guy ... here you go :P
:O
