It doesn’t hurt their value really, he isn’t having a terrible year + the team is dead last. Toffoli’s been a top 6 player for years, not because the team suck and it reflects on him that is value is dropping

ok well in that same sense then Labanc's value hasn't diminished because of his poor season, its a team system issue.

Bones is still a monster PKer, excellent on the dot and provides decent scoring from the bottom six. Not to mention a top notch leader. He will get a 3rd and maybe even a 2nd. You clearly have never watched him play lol

Decent scoring from the bottom six? He’s scoring at pretty much the same rate as Brad Richardson, who the flames have scratched, and who I think shouldn’t be playing over some of our younger players anyway (like ruzicka and gawdin). We have Lewis, Coleman, Mangiapane, Backlund, and Lindholm, who are all elite penalty killers (tied for #5 PK in the league despite a rough week last week, and I’m pretty sure we were #2 prior to that), plus Richardson/Gawdin (when they’re in the lineup), Dube, and Pitlick can kill penalties. The PK is not something we need help with, he wouldn’t take PK time from our main crew of 5 forwards, and he doesn’t score more often than guys we have scratched. So no, he isn’t worth a 3rd and a 7th, and honestly I doubt any team would pay for that, because a PK only 4C can be found almost anywhere for dirt cheap, and his offense isn’t noteworthy at all. Like I’d honestly rather call up Byron Froese than give up an asset for Bonino lol

So much I think hinges on Bordeleau being ready by next season to take the 3C role and excel in it. I really hope he is, but I think he'll probably need a year at the professional level first. Again, really hope I'm wrong though.
