According to Engels the Canadiens have 4 untouchables, they are Suzuki, Caufield, Romanov and Guhle. Doubt they give up Guhle for 3 months of Gaudreau, he wants to play in Calgary, New Jersey or Philadelphia so he isn't resigning in Montreal no matter how much cap space we have. Also that offer would be if he was signed long term not heading to FA and no way a non-playoff team offers that.
