Lottery protect that 1st round pick and I'd do it from an LA perspective. The Kings aren't going to give up a shot at Connor Bedard.

In the offseason, Ritchie will have a great buyout available and the price for taking on his deal will drop due to that increased competition. It's at a premium right now because you can't buy him out during the season.
