Goalie options: Fluery, Halak, Quick (maybe?), Stolarz, Holtby

For Halak specifically, I think the Caps have options here for a trade:

A 3rd round pick
A 2nd round pick
Vitek Vanacek

I think a 3rd is suitable for a pure rental 36 year old goalie who has seen limited action. Thoughts?

If we have holtby why would they need another goalie. Get value got of him. Also that’s an offer Dallas can’t refuse

We wouldn’t but I don’t want to trade Vitek for Holtby since Holtby is a rental and even if he resigns he is old and I think Vitek has more value, trade Vitek in a separate trade to a team that needs a young goalie(like the oilers) for a prospect and some picks
