The Blues almost certainly are not trading Neighbours. And what exactly happens to Binny? Have you murdered him? Shipped him off to the dimension where Loki went? You can't just disappear a contract.

Even if for some odd reason, the Blues shipped out Binnington (his NTC would likely stop it anyway)...they would hold onto Hofer and pair him with Husso. Not going to trade your 1A goalie and your top goalie prospect.

I don't think that the GM of Arizona, who's trying to rebuild the team from the ground up, had a 32-year-old in mind when he said "a roster player." And a 21-year-old goalie prospect probably isn't high on his wish list, either.
