No on a first round pick a bigger no on Schneider and a small no on Kravtsov - Schneideris the one young defenseman that is a non-starter

No 1st round pick means no Miller

As per my previous post, PIT gets screwed and tells you to go away.

And you're not getting Schneider in a deal. Lundqvist was ok.

You aren't a Pens fan, go talk to them and see what they think. Rangers can forget about bringing back Miller then, the only way Vancouver takes Kravtsov from them is if Schneider is coming along

It doesn't matter who I'm a fan of in this situation. PIT is getting absolutely screwed so VAN can get a better return on Miller AND get rid of 1.5 mil in cap hit next year. It doesn't work for them. They can bury Desmith and use Dominique as a back up the rest of the season without losing anything.

Use Domingue as their backup? You have got to be kidding me

Not at all. Come playoff time, no matter who the back up is, if Jarry is gone, there's no chance for PIT. Halak can't do that. This isn't MTL in 2013 (or whatever year it was)

1st off Kravstov a 9 pick over all is not just a throw in 2nd Schneider is a no. 3rd you say we can't have Miller, cool I'm good with that. 4th both of your proposals are insane for 2 out of 3 teams. Go figure the canucks win both trades

Kravtsov is a headcase, who actually WANTS to pay for him when he has proven squat at the NHL level? If anything, I'd say the Rangers ought to try and dispense with him rather than wait for his rights to expire

Halak is better than both Desmith and Domingue, I haven't heard a single Pens fan dispute me on that

That may be true, but it still doesn't matter. You're missing the point.

What point? The performance bonuses? The Pens are trying real hard to compete this year and they don't know if they'll be able to keep Malkin and Letang beyond this season. I don't think the performance bonuses would be #1 on their priority list of things to worry about for next season
