Salary dumping costs and that's the price you pay. We need to dump some dead weight to get into a position of a playoff team. We are too fragile of a team

when you are trading a better goalie for a worse one you arnt dumping salary, so no it doesnt cost a good prospect to get worse at defence. And how does soucy make the team less fragile? seattle is awful and he's not good.

Well, the cap hit for our backup goalie goes from 3.5 to 1.4... 1.1 mill net gain and only this year left. Make more room next year to sign Soupy back. Soucy is on a bad team, but his numbers are still good. Somehow he is a plus player this year and he has one more year on that deal so, that is worth it

and yet the goaltending gets worse and it costs you a top prospect. And Soucy's numbers are middling. He;s a bottom pairing defender on a bad team. Plus minus means literally nothing. literally. He is worth a 3rd on deadline day tops

So last time explaining the goalie trade... yes its a down grade, yes its expensive. But it save cap this year and the next two years. we can send Korpisalo down to the minors and bring up Woll if he is a problem... do ya get it now or should I explain it to the wall. The soucy trade is a bit expensive because he is not a rental and honestly, the market place for defense is thin this year. Make a team so I can rip your ideas apart over and over and over without making much sense lol

so last time for me explaining the goalie trade, it makes the goaltending worse. You do not want to get worse goaltending when you are tyring to win now. And Woll is even worse than Korpisalo, and even if you did want to downgrade for cap reasons, you do not pay someone to take the better goalie from you.
The soucy trade is expensive because it's a massive over payment. It doesnt matter if he has 1 or 10 years left on his deal he simply isnt worth 1/10th of the value here.

Again.... the bleeping wall. Go sit in a corner with the other habs fans who no nothing, have no original ideas and just want to say that what you think should happen is wrong. I looked at a few of your teams and almost pissed myself laughing. You definitely are one of the most unintelligent people on here.
