Probably a good defenceman if not another centre because I would be left without a top 6 C which are hard to get and I'd need to be able to get another C from someone.

Not sure yet, waiting on another possibility, but would you be interested in Andrighetto + 5th (VAN - 2018) for Hayden + 3rd (CHI - 2018)?
I have more forwards than I would like and Andrighetto is an affordable option for at least a couple of years, when he will still be an RFA.
(Unless your cap situation allows you to make a trade for Frolik now, but I don't think your roster has changed any yet)

Definitely interested. Hayden brings some size to my otherwise small team, so I'm not sure I like giving up him and a higher pick since I'm not sure what Andrighetto is going to do this year.

Over the last 2 years (at 5 on 5), his P/60 are 2nd line rate and make him the 2nd most productive player on Colorado now. He produces, but wasn't given the ice time in Montreal (because Therrien).
He also has a 51.9 CF% and 55.6 GF% over the last 2 seasons, so he isn't a black hole.

If Andrighetto continues to produce with more ice time, as he showed he was capable of last season with Colorado, you'll be buying low.
There's always a risk of a player not continuing to produce, but the risk in this case is minimal. It's not like you are getting a Beleskey-like contract.
He fits your needs of being NHL ready, responsible, productive, and affordable.

He also makes Panik expendable, which will allow you to replace those assets or further improve your roster.

Have to get at least a 4th since thats where he was picked last year and he has grown into a player worth signing.

I agree his advanced stats make it look sustainable but it was only 19 games of proving Montreal wrong. Only thing I'll say is he doesn't make Panik expendable since they are different players because Panik is physical and goes to the net. Like I said I'm thin on picks already so I could do Hayden + 2019 4th, or take Hayden out and I'll do the 2018 3rd for Andy + 2018 6th.

Marchesseault for White or Bean ?

He only has 1 year left on his deal, can't give up a top prospect for a rental.

                            I'm thinking Andrighetto + 4th (COL - 2018) for 3rd (CHI - 2019) + Hayden might be a suitable compromise?

You have two 2nds in 2019 and no 4th in 2018, so you won't feel the loss of a 3rd as much that way, and you'll refill a gap in your picks for next year.

If I was interested in Panarin, would a package of Ryan Spooner + a 1st + a prospect be a could base for a deal?

Nope, Panarin is a top 5 winger in the league in his prime. Need at least a top 6 C or a top RHD to start the convo.

Like Faksa and I think he could develop into a #2 but he isn't one right now and I need to win now so that won't work either. I looked at your team and I'm not sure we're a match up front but I could do a Panarin - Jones based deal if you wanted Panarin.

Hey Thornton, I think you need to edit your trade that you posted. I think you just have to switch the players around (ex. Hayden should be shown under the Avs logo, as that's where he is going to). Thanks

I was just looking to grab Panarin as another trade piece I could use to get a #1 center. Losing Jones would be a huge blow... could maybe talk Ellis?

He's a former mid first round pick and one of my top prospects so a top 6 F or top 4 D or a top prospect.
