Honestly, I initially had the NYR second as a straight first but wasn't absolutely sure on the value at all so I just made it conditional. What do you see as Lundkvist's negatives, because I haven't really seen him play but I know he got NHL time this season and he is a recent first-round pick? Same with Kravtsov, obviously he wasn't happy to be left off the NHL roster this season so he requested a trade and got loaned to the KHL, but aside from that are there gaping holes in his game?
Lundkvist came in as a super-hyped Adam Fox-type dman. He's absolutely still young, and absolutely has a solid ceiling, but he's been pretty overwhelmed in his own zone while playing fairly sheltered minutes. Probably has a lot to do with jumping from Euro hockey to the NHL (Only 7 AHL games), but he's got a long way to go at this point.
With Kravtsov, I think you'll see people value him all over the board. He's producing reasonably well in the KHL, but it's not really the same game...I've seen people value him as if he's stil the 9th OA pick, and I've seen people value him like he's Lias Andersson. I honestly think it's somewhere in between.
I guess I just think there's a bit of shine that's worn off those two. They could absolutely both turn into extremely productive NHLers, but I think you can remove a lot of the question marks by changing that pick from 60thish OA to 25-32. At least you'd get the chance to pick your own prospect in case the other two fall off?
