Description

Talbot is a fine goalie, but I have little confidence in his ability to take this team on a deep run. Upgrade to Fleury and get Talbot off the payroll for next season.
No need for CHI to retain any salary as the Wild will have plenty of accrued cap space.

I'm okay with it. I'd prefer it be Talbot + 3rd but not a deal breaker for me. I've tossed this idea around.

MAF controls if or where he goes, so the price on him could end up being dirt cheap if he pulls a Hall and says I'll only go to xyz team.

2nd for a 3rd and CHI declines. I'm not sure this deal gets it done for CHI as is.
