Leafs can not afford that Subban deal and wouldn't take on another huge contract like that with Holl playing I think equally maybe a little worse.

Oilers have already said they will not deal their 1st round pick for a rental, let alone give up 2 of their top 10 prospects just to unload Koskinen's deal for the remainder of the season and receive an underperforming Tatar for this and next season... They need a goalie, and possibly a 3rd pairing left shot d man, possibly 2nd if it were Ryan Graves...

Yah no thanks. Like some have said, our primary targets should be a starting goalie, and a top 4 right handed defence man. I believe a guy like Niemalinen will get called up next season, or we will sign Russell, or play Koekkoek so we don’t need a left shot. Plus, our prospect pool is loaded at left defence with Broberg, Samorukov, Niemalinen, Munzenberger and many more! Our right side, not so much. After our young gun in Bouchard, in our prospect pool our best one is probably Kemp, then Kesselring, Berglund etc. Either way, I see Holland drafting a defence man this year, preferably a right shot. There are of course a few names that come to mind. That is our targets and I would love it if Holland filled a few in the off-season.

Iafallo, Kempe, Moore, with additional depth in Grundstrom and possibly re-signing Athanasiou and Lemieux -- why would LA want another LW?
