Sharks consider that one but i’m not sure we just don’t need another LW we are far more in need of a right hand shot RW

MTL isn’t getting much value in the NYR trade
Let’s trade Chiarot for a 1st RD pick & if we can’t get a first round pick for Lehky we’ll just keep him
If Harris doesn’t sign here, he won’t sign in Tampa. It means he goes to BOS
The Weber to NSH needs to stop, it doesn’t change anything for NSH if Weber retires in MTL or NSH
Armia vs Poolman make more sense than Armia vs Ceci
MTL & BUF aren’t doing that
PIT & MTL aren’t doing that (the Petry trade)

Weber retirement actually does change things for Nashville if it happens next year or later and they trade for him now. I'm not saying it will happen, but it does make a difference.

They "owe" $24M. If Weber spends next year in Nashville before retiring, they owe roughly $5M less ($19M). For each additional year, they owe roughly $7M less.

If Weber stays in Montreal and retires 1 year early, they get hit with a cap penalty for 4 years beyond that (the full $24M).
If Weber spends the rest of his contract with Nashville and retires 1 year early, they only have to deal with 1 year of cap penalty (the roughly $7M remaining).

So while they may not do it, it does matter if Weber retires prior to the end of his contract.

No all that crap have been fixed and now no matter what the scenario is, Weber to NSH doesn’t make sense

The "fix" was to modify recapture so it was divided among multiple years instead of having Nashville get whomped with a $24M cap hit in a single year.

There are two ways it doesn't hurt Nashville:
      1) Weber doesn't retire early
      2) The league changes the rules again

I am changing my mind of Drouin. No might be the time to buy low since Lebanc will never be anything
