Trading Pelletier for a rental would be moronic. He could very possibly be a better player than Rakell as soon as next year

Very expensive for Rakell.
Not that high on Rakell for the flames, don't think he would make that much impact for the cost.
Would rather go big game hunting for a game changer like Giroux, pavelski or hertl.
Or if you want a middle 6 forward I think Jarnkrok would be a cheaper option and a better fit.
