saw this posted on trade machine. @knuckl3s I'm arguing with a few wild fans that they wouldn't do this trade while I'm all over the trade and think it's not enough so wild would accept but others think it's to much and wild say no. Just want to see what others say. thanks

I think it is a solid trade if the Nucks either retain salary or take Gaudreau (1,2 million next year). We can't afford Miller without moving out money, otherwise we'd lose Fiala and that would be a price too steep.

Canucks aren't doing that. They have no spot for Lambos and they aren't even getting a 1st back

Greenway isn't even going to be kn table considering he was just resigned. Not a chance Minnesota gives up this much for JT Miller. He's not worth anywhere close to this.

Dont be angry, I am just relaying the reported asking price.
The player is productive with term remaining with team friendly money.

If you and the other wild fans dont want to pay it, stop posting trades with Miller

There's a difference between an ask and what is offered. Just because your gm ask something doesn't mean it's realistic or reality based. It's also a fantasy that a player who was just resigned to multi year dream with contract starting next year will be traded. Remember Buffalo's ask and what they got? Yeah that's called asking and then making a deal

Really don’t see how a couple tier 2 winger prospects and a mid rounder moves the needle for vancouver at all

I am so tired of these stupid uneducated Eichel comparisons.
If you really think a healthy Eichel gets buffalo the same return, you are out to lunch. That was below market value due to his desire for an experimental sports surgery vs is contract and amount of money left, not to mention how vocal he was that he wasnt going to play for Buffalo anymore.

Miller doesnt have to be traded by the deadine, it can wait till the off season when more teams are involved to drive up more interest.

Regardless, 1st, 2 NHL ready prospects, 1 of which is a Dman, and a roster player of value, thats the ask.
Dont pay it, in fact I hope the wild are out the picture cause there is nothing of worth that can benefit the canucks in a Miller trade.

Hopefully you and the OP and other fans will stop with the Miller trades and move on....

Hopefully Canucks fans can stop also. Your gm asking something doesn't make it factually. No one is going to pay three to four 1st round pick for a player entering free agency next year. Hom having 1 year left in summer will even decrease his value more no team is giving up two top prospects and roster player for JT. In addition to adding a 1st like so many Canucks fans keep thinking

Miller will easly get a 1 probably a conditional pick and a decent prospect

Exactly! You can't have this conversation with Canucks fans. Their gm that was taken to shed by Guerin in bjustad, and Zucker trade is now supposedly some genius who just because he ask something, he has to get it

I can assure you, there is no one, not 1 canuck fan that thinks there is any worth on the wild to justify a Miller trade so you have no worries from canuck fans including wild players in their GM bulids.

Jim Rutherford is going to have a say in any trade considering he's the one whose been leaking to the media. He hired his protege who was with him in Pittsburgh. His gm isn't making a trade without Rutherford approval. You can't pick and choose which argument you like because eichel trade doesn't support your argument that it isn't worth three 1st round pick or more

I always figured a solid miller trade would be like dumba, beckman and a 1st. I figure that would give them the rd they need, a good future and a solid forward prospect, while still facilitating the wild and not mortgaging their future.

Playing Addison with brodin would be a good compliment. Addison isn’t as physical as dumba but I think he would compliment brodin as well as dumba has.

Yeah right, and you think JT Miller has to get three to four 1st round pick and more because Rutherford ask. Not realistic or reality based at all.

I maybe the odd one but I'm still willing to do it. Wild need that skilled 3 center to fill out the roster. Dumba hasn't been the same since his major injury in the fight with tkachuk. I think they would have to get a better rd then addison for the rest of this season tho I haven't been overly impressed with him in the games he's played. But starting next year with more conditioning he can fill that roll.
