That extra million it'd cost us for the next two years will be pretty needed if we have any hopes of signing both Tkachuk and Gaudreau in the off-season.

Tarasenko's price may have dropped last summer with the injuries, trade demands. But I think he has recaptured most that value this season.
Monahan is playing bottom-6 role. Calgary adds a bunch here.

True, but hasn’t his TOI gone down since Sutter took over. Might just be him not liking Monahan’s style of play and doesn’t exactly mean that he couldn’t be the old him in a other team under a different coach.

Tarasenko is better than Monahan so why are the blues trying to get rid of taraenko for a worse player. They can just trade tarasenko in the offseason for a way better package. Easy pass by the blues

Blues are most likely going to want Tkachuk or Gaudreau. LD would also be another one. Monahan wouldnt be useful for the Blues sorry. Tarasenko recaptured most of the value anyway

Maybe...still probably not enough to convince rival GMs that he is going to be a ppg center again.
