I don't get it. Why are so many Leaf fans suddenly obsessed with the prospect of the team reacquirring a very slow 6-7 defender? Luke Schenn is not an upgrade to anything the Leafs currently have on their back end.

The Schenn trade doesn't seem necessary by either team
Like the Arizona just to get rid of Ritchie cap hit next season.
Hakanpaa seems like a sideways trade for both teams
Foolish to give away Holl.
So as said above, really a lot of moving for no improvement by the Leafs.

I said he would be a 4th right dman. Not top 4. Meaning he would be 4th pairing dman not 2nd pairing.
