If TOR had their first round pick in this it would be a such a leaf’s move at the deadline.

That's a stretch. Of all the Leafs prospects, Niemela is untouchable. This is actually some pretty good value. We can up it to a first if you take Nick Richie as well.

Agreed. Plus, they already have Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander to put the puck in the net. Leafs need to use their one or two bullets to acquire defensive help, not another scorer.
