Overpayment for Mayfield and Panik.

VAN will get better much better offers than that for Miller.

Explain why a rebuilding team like ARI would trade one of their best fwd prospects for two veteran cap dumps and some meh draft picks? The 3rd and the 6th is probably not even enough to get them to take on those contracts.

I know the islanders aren't having a great year but Mayfield has quite a few years left on his deal at a very cheap number. I don't think Lou is trying to move him.

The Hayton deal makes no sense.

I guess the value is there for Miller trade, but I also think there's probably a better deal out there than this one for him. I also don't know much about Abramov so idk, maybe it's better than I think.

Not sure the Leafs have the pieces to get J. T. Miller, Rutherford will get a 10x better offer for Miller then this elsewhere.

Isles say no, they do not need to trade Mayfield unless they are getting a 1st. They are happy to keep him for next year.
