It's not 2 trade or a trade with 2 teams, I just use the setup to make 2 different trade in the same place. So MTL go get a goaltender number 5 or 6 and give 7 round pick. Also that give a little bit of cap space for both Lightning or Bruins and one contract left.

So the Bruins move someone to help division rivals? Not sure why on earth the Bruins are in this trade seeing as they are getting nothing back (not that Gros is a super star, just not sure why they move a player when they dont have to for nothing)

As you could see, Hughes have gone to wild to get Andrew Hammond for Brandon Braddock who have 7 pts in 33 March so yeah pretty much a goalie for almost nothing in exchange.

Not sure I follow your logic of the bruins moving any asset to competing teams for nothing especially when they need a goalie as well for the farm.
