Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Miller, J.T. ($2,625,000 retained)
  2. Schenn, Luke
Additional Details:
This trade works for both sides in my opinion. Canucks get a huge haul for Miller as well as giving up Schenn in a 1st rounder, a 1st round top 20 prospect in the league, a 2nd, Abruzzese who's currently on the US Olympic team, and a 4th. In terms of value, this equates to two 1st, one 2nd, one 3rd, and one 4th, which I think is fair value.
VAN
  1. Abruzzese, Nick [Reserve List]
  2. Amirov, Rodion
  3. 2022 1st round pick (TOR)
  4. 2023 2nd round pick (TOR)
  5. 2023 4th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Leafs have three great prospects at lw which makes at least one of them expendable. I picked Amirov because Robertson is closer to the NHL than him and Knies has a unique skill set the Leafs lack. Amirov coming in the league in about 2 years would also benefit the Canucks as they would be starting to properly contend around then and would have 3 elc years of Amirov. Miller is exactly what the leafs lacked in the last playoffs. A center replacement if one of their stars goes down. He's also a star by himself and would thrive on any line, which would give the Leafs amazing depth. Schenn would also be a perfect fit as a reliable strong veteran d-man who can move up and down the lineup when needed.

I have made similar JT Miller trades. I have offered more than what you gave here and Vancouver fans still don't love it haha.

VAN decline, that trade does nothing for them.

Amirov is not a top 20 prospect in the league. He wasn't before the season started and he definitely hasn't moved up having basically not played at all.

Doubtful Vancouver wants picks and prospects, They want players that can help them now.

False. Vancouver wants picks and prospects. Source: Jim Ruthford

This trade however is not enough for Miller
