Klingberg is likely leaving this team. We need a good puckmoving top-4 RHD to replace him, preferably a bit younger one since our team is old. I kinda like Pionk for this role.

I can't see Pionk being available for any reasonable price. He's too important to the Jets.

Jets have no depth on the right side. Can’t see a scenario where he’s available.

IMHO, the place to go shopping for a RD is NY. They already have Fox and Trouba on the right side of their Top 4 and both of them are not going nowhere until a long period of time.

That leaves the question of "redundancy" at this position with the presence of Schneider and Lundkvist waiting for their turn. Both of them have Top 4 potential and they will not get that opportunity soon with the Rangers.

We have the Top forward rental in Pavelski that could lead the Rangers on a deep PO run.

Sometimes, I think that the Pavelski deal could have more impact than a potential Klingberg deal.
