Description
This is my solution to the cap crunch for the next few years. Decided not to resign Bjugstadt but if they really want him I'm sure they could find a way. Leaves the wild with a little bit of space and I think resonable contracts for the players. But I'm not great with this so let me know if it's to little or to much. I think Fialas is maybe a little low for what he wants but maybe he will give a discount to be with a contender, I think Imay have over paid for Kappo, but otherwise I think its fair. Ek becomes new 2nd A. After this following year either trade or let go of Talbot will clear up an additional 3.6 mil which will leave the wild with 7 mil the following season

Few teams (LA is probably one) that has enough cap to take M NTC Dumba for one year with for full cap. Your thought is good, but who are the Kings competing with for full cap N MTC services?

What’s the point of a 3 year deal on Fiala? We’re not contenders during the heavy buyout years, but this doesn’t even get him to the last year of Kaps deal. If you’re not locking him up for term, why are you keeping him?

This feels likely to me. I think you're maybe 1M high on Kaapo and 1M low on Fiala, so it's a wash.

I'd like to see Fiala signed for longer, but I'm worried we may be back to arbitration with him this off season and it will be a 1 year deal, so a 3 year deal that gets us through cap hell is definitely worth it.

For Dumba, we should be expecting a 1st rd pick and a Grade B prospect. But I'm still not sure who can take on his cap hit next year with a virtually flat cap. Most of the teams with cap space are rebuilding and want to keep their picks and prospects. So we may be stuck there.
