Until Quinn is Back
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AntiAnalytics</b></div><div>First,
the idea for Mitts at 1C & Tage on line2 is absolutely not a “locked on Sabres” idea
It’s EXACTLY what happened last year when Thompson got hurt & Mitts filled in at 1C for him. He did such a good job, that when Tage was healthy again, we kept Mitts at 1C and Tage played on the 2nd line- not at Center though- Cozens was the Center & Thompson played RW
Secondly,
where do u get that this is “Krebs last chance” for anything?
He’s being developed as a 2way forward, who we obviously like quite a bit, or he wouldn’t be centering Okposo & Girgs, getting the tough assignments on a nightly basis. His lack of offense thus far stem from being out into a defensive role- he’s fine
Third & Fourth,
Kulich in the lineup over Olofsson is doubtful
Ryan Johnson in the lineup over Jokiharju is also doubtful
When it’s close, the Vets almost always get the nod
Finally,
I agree with BUF10 in that we carry 3 goalies
UPL was great in spurts for us last year, & i think we wanna see more from him[/quote

Min says no, you dont get both Addison and Lambos, maybe Lambos and a 2nd but nothing more. He is only a rental for us not like he would resign on a team friendly deal so if thats the price it's not worth it, idek if I wanna give away Lambos

Tuch may not be worth that, but I think vegas likes him to much so we would probably have to give more than he's worth to get him. I am a wild fan and really liked his play when they drafted him, wanted him in a wild sweater and I think he could be great with the right development

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BruceWayne17</b></div><div>I wouldn't be surprised if the Sabres make a strong push for Pietrangelo. It has been rumored that Uncle Terry has made it very well known to the Sabres front office that he wants him in the blue & gold. I imagine it would take 9+ million to land him here and I personally would prefer to save that kind of pay day for our Swede boy Rasmus Dahlin.</div></div>
Ya near the end of putting this together I was like damn we wont be able to sign dahlin or Joki next season, but I was too far in to just delete it, unless they can find a way to trade okposo and get rid of the entire 6 mil or something there is no way to make Pietrangelo work here imo unless the NHL says **** it and bumps the cap to 85 mil for no reason lol

Is there a loophole
I don't see why minnesota doesn't go the 8 skaters route. protect the top four and then still protect four forward assets, not including those who are ineligible. But honestly I think trading Dumba is our best chance at getting a center so even if they could protect him I see him getting traded just so we have something to show at center next year

I am going to trust Bill has a plan.
I am holding out hope the Guerin gave Staal to Sabres in hopes the Sabres won't compete against the Wild for Cirelli.</div></div>
that would be pretty cool if that was the case, however I still think even if that was the plan we could have at least got a pick or something more for staal, and not have taken back a deal that is 4.5 mil

As a duel wild/sabres fan (family from both places and call both home) sabres for sure win this. I think Mojo can bounce back and if minny puts him in the right spot I think he can be a solid player. However I don't see where he goes in the lineup, I think he needs to be at wing for best production. Staal is great and I'm really excited to see him in those royal blue uni's this winter. GMBG has been smart for the wild in everything he has done up to this point. I have faith he knows something more than the general public. Otherwise I think sabres win which if the wild are gonna get fleeced at least its going to my #2 team!

personally, (i may be biased) but I think JEE hasn't reached his full potential, and strome is great don't get me wrong, but just isn't a fit for the wild in my mind. Also Dumba is better any deangelo

you realize Fiala was like third in the league in points from January to the pause right? Letang is old and the Wild already have an elite top four and we are trying to get rid of a d-man why in the hell did you think this would make sense to say lmao

TRUST ME AS A WILD FAN WHEN I SAY THIS, Galchenyuk is not the thirty goal scorer he was in Montreal, he will be **** on the top line, he could barely manage a role on the third and still managed to make terrible plays while producing zero offense, he has been bad everywhere since leaving Canada.

I would like to take the flower only if vegas retains salery (like two million) and you take ullmark out of the deal, but to make up for it I would add picks required to make the value even. You got Lehner to start just get some backup in free agency and vegas will be good.

Honestly if we could get domi for that I'd be down, Iv'e also seen a few trades similar but instead of domi its ryan strome at a similar cost. I would take either of those guys to play behind staal and eichel at that price any day
