I think if Zadina is moved, it will be in a bigger package for either an upgrade at C or for a top 4 LD. Like say in a trade for Hampus Lindholm like a sign and trade similar to Seth Jones trade.

Nothing really. Bruins have no need for wingers at this point.

Bruins don't have anything that would interest the red wings other than. Lysell

For zadina? They have plenty. His value is quite low.

Like who? I also never said straight to trade or anything, just stating that I don't think the bruins have anyone other than Lysell that we would want to move for Zadina. Other than Grezlyk, who the bruins should not trade, no one else would be of much interest. At least to me from the bruins team. Also his value isn't as low as most people would think, he plays very good hockey just hasn't generated alot of points yet. Unless a really good offer were to come up there would be no reason to move him.

I think a 2nd round pick would be a very generous offer for zadina. It happens, sometimes high picks don’t turn into what we all hope they do. Guys like grzelcyk aren’t even in the zadina conversation.

Yeah a second round pick wouldn't move the needle for us, no reason to trade him. Zadina has got alot of years left in the nhl.

Just the language here makes it sound like you might be speaking with your heart, not your head. He’s had three good long looks in the NHL over three seasons, and it just hasn’t been there. There’s been no development, no apparent learning curve. I don’t see much reason for optimism.

Well considering players don't hit their primes until the mid twenties usually, still a bit of optimism left. I do agree his lack of production is very disappointing, but like I said before he does play pretty good hockey right now.

All in all unless there was a trade where Detroit obtains a 2C or top 4 LHD we have no reason to trade the guy. Any return for him now wouldn't be worth it, rather wait it out and hope he turns it around. If all else fails he could be a good third liner with a bit of scoring touch.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not counting him out because he’s not ripping it up at 22. The more disappointing thing to me is that I don’t see the progression. Everyone develops differently. Some players are just what they are at 18 (think Yakupov), some players are still developing late into their 20’s (think Giordano). I suppose there could be some players that flatten out in their early 20’s and then turn a corner later in their careers. I can’t really think of any off the top of my head though.
