Technically no, the Caps could carry three goalies the rest of the season. But I'd imagine one of them gets dealt in a separate deal if we nab Varlamov

Both Copley and Jonsson have pretty much no trade value, and a solid 2nd and a low 3rd round pick don’t really cut it for a goalie who’s been a top 10 goalie in the past 2-3 seasons I think the islanders can get a first + for him, not to mention doesn’t make sense for Washington to run 3 goalies
