I think the Wings would accept this, you might get people on here saying "decline" from one side or another, but Staal and Vlad would add good depth for a run

Staals NMC will block him from getting traded. Namestnikov for Tippet I would do personally though.

I think staal might choose to waive it to make a cup run, and at the age of 35 he may want to move to florida is he plans on hanging up the skates soon since people love to live in florida when they retire.

I do hope so for his sake, but he has stated he doesn't plan on moving his family for a cup run and likes it in Detroit. Things can easily change though and a team like Florida would be good for him.
