Detroit accepts. Then we flip Martinez with 50% retained to a contender for a higher prize.

Or we keep Martinez to play with Seider the next 2 years.

I'll disagree with you on this. I can see why you do though, but we still need bodies to fill the void on the left side. He can also play top minutes and be a good mentor for Seider. Two years is perfect term I think as well as by that time hopefully Edvinsson is filling that role and Martinez can slide down the line up.

Exactly my thoughts, I would take Brossoit as well if possible.

Probably more value in using him to fill one of the 2-3 LD spots we have vacant next season. He's a guy that can play top pairing minutes and he could be a good mentor for Seider. There is a chance we could retain on him for the two years left and maybe get a first, but then that pick is still 3+ years from making an impact on the team and we still need able bodies to fill the roster. If he plays well and Detroit is out of the playoffs at the last year of his deal, we could probably recoup what we spent, if not a third or even a second round pick isn't a huge loss.

I don't think there will be a reuniting of Brossoit and the Oilers, that ship sailed quite a while ago.
