Hahah yeah. I really don't see Hextall feeling the need to do too much. Back-up goalie is probably the main priority if he does anything at all. I think Travis Boyd would be a sneaky good move. He's having a bit of an aberration of a season, but the Pens could bring him in and ride the hot hand.

I think this is the approach Hextall will take as their biggest need is back up goalie.

Only other thing would be to trade Kapanen - maybe Zucker.

Yeah, and I suspect that will happen, just not this season.

We may all be surprised at what Anderson will return.
He has a 6-4 record, a 3rd period 0.943 SV% and a 0.925 SH SV%.
Let's remember he was 2-0 for WAS in the 2021 play offs.
He has great life time resume, so this years performance is not an anomaly.
Karmanos knows how to win his trades (Subban, Boychuk and Butcher for future considerations, Tuch for Eichel, Levi for Reinhart, 1st for Ristolainen).
IMO he will get more than DeSmith and 2022 4th round pick (PIT)

Well that is my penny and a half.
BTW, if I were the Sabre GM both Zucker and Kapanen would interest me.
Obviously not for Craig, but as a conversation starter.
