As a Sabre fan this looks good for the Sabres, I really don't know anything about Gurianov but just looking at his Stats if I was a Dallas fan I'd scream WTF you trying to pull - is there a reason Dallas would make this trade? I assume that Gurianov is going to request a healthy contract is Dallas up against the cap?

LOL first I'm an idiot - I thought Gurianov was a RD which made his pt totals really impressive as a RW not so much - while this deal still looks to be in the Sabres favor it's not as lopsided as I originally thought and more in line with all the normal uneven ACGM trades.

I think that is a good thought mainly because I had the same thought - overpay but 1-2 year contracts so Maybe Buffalo fans have something to come back for while waiting for the prospects to grow-up but not putting ourselves in cap hell.

Dallas needs RD, not LD.
