Trading Phaneuf, Polak, Spaling, Reimer, Winnik and Matthias for four 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th and C. Carrick.

Trading 1st and 2nd for Freddie Andersen. Ironic the 1st Rd pick was the one Dubas got in the Kessel give away.

Trading Soshinkov for a 4th.

Only 2 bad trades Lou did as a Leaf were trading two 2nd for rentals in Plekanec and B. Boyle. BUT as you see above, he had the Draft picks to offer from previous deals. So...meh

I can't say trading away future NHLers in Verhaeghe and Harrington was a mistake when they were Ahler's in the Leafs system.
