I know taking Phaneuf back is big but if I'm trading Karlsson I want to get full value back and obviously trading Phaneuf with him hurts his value. Columbus traded Jones + their 2017 first for a top 4 pick (Van 2017), 2 A level prospects in Boeser and Demelo, and two very good roster players in Braun and Hornqvist. If I'm trading away Karlsson, I need something that is equal or better to what Jones brought back.

Haha thanks, I'm not a big fan of Ceci though and I love Tanev's game. Burrows is a good player but his contract wasn't great. Mrazek imo has talent and can be a good goaltender in the Nhl especially if he has a better defense in front of him than what he had in Detroit. Anderson has been amazing this year but he is 35 and goaltenders seem to decline rapidly after that age.

Andrighetto is a little too much there. I'm expecting him to have a breakout season with Colorado for a number of reasons.
Perhaps Nieto and a 5th (2017) or a 4th (2018) for Lajoie and Chlapik?

If not, I'll change/up the simplest offer to a 5th and 7th instead of a 4th and 6th.
Nieto for Lajoie, 5th (2018), 7th (2018).

Yeah I was looking to move one of Ryan or Phaneuf. I'd be willing to retain but not a ridiculous amount like 50%.

I took that into account.

I do like him though, so after some consideration, make it a 2017 6th and it's a deal.
Nieto for Lajoie and a 2017 6th. I know your picks for this year are dwindling, but I'm sure you'll be able to recoup some, as you're just getting started with your trades.
