I'm interested in a variety of things like Logan Brown, Colin White, Chabot, Claesson, Hoffman, Turris, possibly Pageau. So if we can manufacture a deal with the pylon that is Phaneuf, let me know

I see you're weak on your left side, so how about this

Jacob Slavin (thought Slavin would be better for you since you got Tanev, who IMO can fill a top pairing role if needed)
                  Joshua Bailey
2017 Carolina 1st (not lottery protected)

what's the cost for the rights to Condon?

                  A fourth

I'll offer you a condition 2018 4th round pick. The pick will be Pittsburgh's. The condition for the pick is that it will be yours only if Condon signs for Tampa.

I'd have to get more than that back and i would rather get another RD since I stil have Chabot to fill the left and Claesson who played very well on the third pair left side his year.

                  A fourth

I'll offer you a condition 2018 4th round pick. The pick will be Pittsburgh's. The condition for the pick is that it will be yours only if Condon signs for Tampa.

And if he doesn't resign it becomes a 7th?

Have a few different offers to consider ...

Andrighetto for Gagne, Lajoie, and a 7th (2017).
                  Nieto and a 7th (2017) for Lajoie, a 4th (2017) and a 6th (2018).
Andrighetto, Nieto, and a 5th for Gagne, Lajoie, and Chlapik.

I know taking Phaneuf back is big but if I'm trading Karlsson I want to get full value back and obviously trading Phaneuf with him hurts his value. Columbus traded Jones + their 2017 first for a top 4 pick (Van 2017), 2 A level prospects in Boeser and Demelo, and two very good roster players in Braun and Hornqvist. If I'm trading away Karlsson, I need something that is equal or better to what Jones brought back.

I'm definitly considering all 3. I'll look into Andrighetto and Chlapik more and get back to you.

Ok, and I'm still leaning towards keeping Karlsson but I'm willing to negotiate offers.

not trying to be mean but in my opinion that was a horrible trade for the sens.

Haha thanks, I'm not a big fan of Ceci though and I love Tanev's game. Burrows is a good player but his contract wasn't great. Mrazek imo has talent and can be a good goaltender in the Nhl especially if he has a better defense in front of him than what he had in Detroit. Anderson has been amazing this year but he is 35 and goaltenders seem to decline rapidly after that age.

Andrighetto is a little too much there. I'm expecting him to have a breakout season with Colorado for a number of reasons.
                  Perhaps Nieto and a 5th (2017) or a 4th (2018) for Lajoie and Chlapik?

                  If not, I'll change/up the simplest offer to a 5th and 7th instead of a 4th and 6th.
                  Nieto for Lajoie, 5th (2018), 7th (2018).

Yeah I was looking to move one of Ryan or Phaneuf. I'd be willing to retain but not a ridiculous amount like 50%.

I'm not interested in Bailey, Dahlbeck, or the 7th. And I think I'd like to move Phaneuf separately in order to get max value for Karlsson but I'll think of a counter and get back to you.

Want to dump that Bobby Ryan contract? Willing to retain sal?

Yeah I was looking to move one of Ryan or Phaneuf. I'd be willing to retain but not a ridiculous amount like 50%.

I'll look into it a lil more and come back to ya after some other things pan out. I don't usually think in terms of % more like 1mil or 2mil, nice easy #'s
