Its funny you make this because in my head Chychrun and Laine are the perfect fit and only things the Kings are missing. They would be a tough out of the playoffs this season and both guys would be in LA long term. If they could pull it off without sending out Turcotte that would be great.

Yes, Laine will get 7.5M minimum. Cap was set at 81.5M, will go up next year, so I did 5.5M to make it work.

I can see Kings acquire him, sign him to 2-4 yr deal around $8M, then see how it works out before doing a long term deal.

Aaron Portzline pegged an extension for him at around $8.3M-$8.8M for 5-6 years.

Turcotte has to be included in any trade for Laine if they aren’t getting Clarke or byfield

If we get laine at 6 years 8.8 I’ll be over the moon. He seems genuinely happy and even happier than he was in Winnipeg those latter years. He’s also playing the most well rounded game of his career right now so…. Pay this man!!
