No? I never quoted plus minus. I said he was a net negative. As in he did more bad than good for the Canadiens in the post season.

Stop sucking Chiarot's dick, he's a 5/6 or worse by every available metric and a terrible shutdown D. Face it, you're gonna get a 3rd for him by some contending team.

Ok, you definetly have no idea whats going on lol. Try watching a playoff game bud.

Every analyst out there is saying he is getting a first lol. I'm more in the camp that his true value is a 2nd and prospect but because how good he is in the playoffs and the fact that half the league have called about him he is definetly getting a first in return.

Watched a playoff game. He cross-checked people in front of the net. Other than that, he was dog****.

If he gets a first or a 2nd and a prospect, I feel really bad to whichever team gets him.

no, you see i want the leafs to add good defencemen, which is what dubas wants too. He dont want bad defenders like chariot

Ya they don't like big defensemen that can play both sides, clear the front of the net, play agaisnt the other teams top line and has a recent history of playing good in the playoffs lol

nah, they dont like big defencemen that are slow as molasses with no mobility who cant defend a rush or a cycle and needs his partner and C to cover all the pass threats and the goalie to stop every high danger scoring chance he lets by him because he's so focused on crosschecking dudes.

I think nhl general managers understand values and playoff performances a lot better than you. If only the leafs had someone that could clear the front of the net and play agaisnt the other teams top lines maybe, just maybe they could have some playoff success. Its hard to outscore your problems in the playoffs fyi

so you're saying that foligno was worth a 1st? Savard too? Erat was worth forsberg? Damn, those GM's know more than me so clearly those trades that were obviously bad at the time were not!

Once again, he was dog**** in the playoffs. Not sure how this is hard for you to understand lmfao. He's not a shutdown guy by any means. Being a shutdown guy means you have to actually be good on defense.

Current market value they know a lot more than you. None of those trades were deemed as bad at the time. And Savard was a key piece to the Lightnings success. He is a similar player (not as good) to Chiarot, so thats a bad example

Please try watching some playoff hockey. I know you're not use to it with you're own team but just try. He is a stud in the playoffs plain and simple. Passes every eye test. And his advance analytics in the playoffs are actaully good lol

yeah, none of this is true. the Erat and Foligno trades were by far called over payments or flat out awful from the second they happened and Savard was barely used at all during that run. he played less than Jan Rutta and he only got that much in a trade because the market was very very thin.

you should try paying attention, he fails every eye test and his advanced analytics in the playoffs were literally bottom of the league. He was by far the worst player on his own team in scoring impacts

Lol no, maybe on Montreal. He sucks defensively and offensively, the only thing he can do is take that twig and crosscheck in front of his own net.

the leafs had justin holl and travis dermott tonight. we could very much use a guy like ben chiarot. do you forget how good he played against us in the playoffs last year? now i dont think the leafs would spend as much on him as foligno but trust everyone when they say Chiarot is better than Holl and dermott
