BG just said at the intermission Sens will be in on Fiala In the summer

Just to nitpick....

Don't say BG. You'll just confuse us Wild fans. Our GM is Billy G after all!

Clueless 2.0

How many times have we've witness a "rising" superstar player sign a big contract and dropped off the face of the earth.

Just saying it's possible for Mr. Falalala

Zucker has hit 60 points only once in his career. In 2017 on a line with Granlund and Koivu.

Fiala has been on a 70'ish point pace for the last three years in every season with nobody's on his line for most of it. Since being paired with Boldy he has been over a point per game. Paired with Stutzle, the Sens are looking at a perennial 70+ top line winger for the next ten years.

As someone who has watched both players for a very long time. Fiala>>>>Zucker.

Calling him Zucker 2.0 is an insult and shows you haven't the knowledge to know what you’re talking about.

I don’t think he would accept an offer sheet from Ottawa but I could be wrong

It's close to his current projected market value of $8.6M. He just might.

Why would the Wild be after Bailey . He’s got a few years left at 5 mill and this makes their cap situation worse

We wouldn't be.

1) We don't need wingers.

2) Even if it was for a playoff push, there are better options out there that are a much better fit for us.

=>(Stastny)<=

3) Unless it's JT Miller, I don't see us making a move for any player that has term left.

Bottom line, I call bull****.

Killing it.

Seriously though, after he got extended, he's been bringing it every night. Right now he's actually been playing the physical power forward game Wild fans have been dreaming of for years since we drafted him.

Despite the loss against you guys tonight, I thought he played well.

fine Jeff Skinner 2.0

either way Fiala isn't a superstar worthy of 8 million, he is a Nylander, Larkin, RNH, $6 supporting role player.

Actually, he is.

His current market value is projected at $8.6M with a GSVA of 2.4.

Nylander's market value is $7.6M, with a GSVA of 2.1.

Larkin market value is $8.7M, and shares the same GSVA as Fiala at 2.4.

RNH has the lowest market value at $7M flat, as well as his GSVA of 1.9.

Just because they're underpaid, doesn't mean he should take less then what he's worth. There isn't a chance he gets less than $7M on his next contract.
