It's not though. Miller <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Matthews. And TOR would have to move cap out to take on Miller. You need to accept you'll need to take deals back. You could up the ask to accompany that though.

Man I made one with roberston, liljegren, mikheyev, a first and second and was told none of those pieces are any good. So I think it goes both ways. If he gets moved, I think Vancouver fans won’t be happy with the return because they are expecting everything.

If you can get kerfoot, one of our top prospects and a first that’s a pretty good deal.

That's not true at all lol many teams are asking about miller reports once again today that have come out say it will take a GAINT haul for Van to move miller before the deadline, no need to make a trade that doesn't make sense from our POV

Then don't make it. But if he's moved, Vancouver will need to take money back. That's the cold truth.

Ah, the old even more ridiculous post as a response to trade offers they claim to be ridiculous.

Just a normal day at CF.

liljegren would be the most attractive piece in that deal for van and tbh other teams have Better RHD propsect's that would be more attractive to van there are 2 reasons to Move miller cap and getting a stud top 4 RHD, having mikheyev and kerfoot coming back negates the first reason to move Miller, Kerfoot while a decent middle 6 winger really doesn't do anything for Van his numbers are heavily influenced by playing with Tavares and Nylander, Van also don't really need wingers is the issue. Garland and Hoglander play top 6 minutes while Miller plays center so adding a guy like kerfoot would be playing 3rd line in Van same with mikheyev there is no real spot for him on the team, roberston has struggled a bit in the ahl and has legit injury concerns, the Issue with most leafs trades for Miller is they just don't have a deep enough prospect pool to get it done, Minnesota, Colorado and New York can all put a package that suits our needs way better than Toronto can, if leafs really want to trade for another Foward Giroux or Foresberg would probably be a better fit

I doubt Miller gets moved and if money is coming back the cost goes up it's simple as that

Huge disagree. Vancouver will need to take money back regardless. Any team that can take his cap hit without sending money back won't want him. Simple as that

I can agree with that. I think they will have to move niemila to get miller and I’m torn if I’d be ok with that. I think if the cost ended up being kerfoot, niemila and a first they should do it because Miller will be that much of a difference maker. But ya that offer could be beat.
Also if muzzin is gonna be out the leafs don’t even need to move kerfoot to make the money work, if Vancouver doesn’t value him he probably won’t be in the deal.

I would disagree JR already said we aren't looking to make trades where money would be coming back. they belive in the core of the team and would prefer to re tool around, having guys like pearson hamonic pool myers get traded for cheap and start from there, Unless the money coming back is a really useful player that will be here long term van won't be taking money back what's so ever

Niemila would definitely helps the conversation get off the ground but i think Toronto would still have to add a bit more, but a deal like that would be going in that right direction

Trust a Canes fan here... JR's word is just a word. If you're trading miller money will HAVE to go back 100%, that's just certainty.
