That’s a lot of term and cap coming to Edmonton. That’s a big problem that’s really tough to work around.

Not if you consider your team has no starting goaltender. Binnington might be in a slump but for a start of his career to be considered for a vezina, Conn Smythe, and Calder in the same year and already has a cup to his name. I probably wouldn't be complaining

Three year slump, LOL.

You know who's really hot right now? Matt Murray. But I wouldn't trade for him either.

Edmonton declines. Binnington is performing worse than Koskinen this year. Ew.

It is an option I’ve toyed around with recently trying to see if there was a way for it to work but I just don’t see how. Current RFAs need to resign nurses large raise coming into effect it’s a very tough deal to work that also carries a very realistic risk that within a year skinner could very well be the starter and oilers just caused themselves the same situation blues are attempting to get out of here. Nothing against him do think right now would and could help but moving forward changes it would cause and force are too dramatic. Interesting idea I personally wouldn’t be against it if it wasn’t for cap implications.

I mean, we aren't looking to move binnington. If Husso wasn't doing as well as he was, we'd be looking at getting a backup, not a replacement for Binnington. The main point is that its been said for years now that Koskinen can't compete as a starter and Edmonton did nothing to address their goalie situation. I'd take our boat with an underperforming Binnington than all in on Koskinen.

3 year slump? How do you figure that?
At the end of the day, you are ruining McDavid and Draisaitl's best years. You'll be lucky to get into the second round.

First, I'm not ruining anything. Second, the surest way to ruin Edmonton's current opportunity would be to saddle them with a crap goalie on a huge contract. Your narrative doesn't line up with your trade offer at all.

1.) You still havnt addressed the 3 year slump
2.) It isn't my trade. I'd take binnington over Koskinen
