Colorado is not moving Girard in season, if it was offseason Girard for Beau could make sense but it does not right now.

Avs don't either. @sabres262 Canucks deal is too rich. Toffoli trade set the market. Yes, Miller is better, but is he THAT much better? I don't think so, no.

Miller is that much more valuable than Toffoli. Can play everywhere, plus PP and PK, faceoffs, and puts up more points.

Miller is no doubt better than Toffoli ('22 1st, and what amounts to two 2nds), but is he two 1sts (Barron), a former 1st in Kaut, and a 2nd that could become another 1st better? No, I don't think so. Not saying I don't want Miller, but if that's the cost, then the Avs are out. Moreover, I don't see who bites at that outside of Tampa (whose window is closing).

For reference, Corey Pronman reviewed a hypothetical trade with the rangers in JT Miller at 50% retained for Vitali Kravtsov, Nils Lundkvist, and a '22 1st, and said it was fair. So to reiterate, the value here is off.
