I don't see CHI taking on Kassian, BUT if I were EDM....I'd probably want to keep him too. Playoff hockey is a different animal. EDM is going to want someone with a little beef to defend McDavid.

If you had read the actual trade details it was noted that it all hinged on an extension being agreed upon. The overpay of picks , prospects is to assure Chicago takes BOTH Smith and Kassian. Id add another 2nd to make it happen. But they're gone 1 way or the other if im GM. As it stands theres plenty out there floating around that a 1st for fleury may be high. It could be a 2nd that gets him. I doubt that However.
