Don't think Andersson gets the job done. He's not a quality asset anymore. Replace him with a RHD prospect not named Clarke or Faber.

I think LA would rather move Turcotte than Vilardi. Insiders suggest that Vilardi won't be moved this season. Not sure if this is a hill Blake is willing to die on though.

All things considered, this could be a best case scenario from a Kings perspective. The only thing I'd wonder about is maybe adding JAD to the trade since he's killing it in Ontario and has done everything the club has asked of him. The only unforeseen variable is how well Lizotte has played, and how much I would assume his teammates and coach like him overall . It just seems like JADs path is blocked with Lizotte in the lineup and possibly signed for the future since he has done so well. If this is the case, why not do right by JAD by trading him to a team where him getting a look is a no brainer

Not sure trading anyone to Arizona at this point is "doing right" by them.

Essentially it wouldn't be I can agree. Just giving the player who at this point belongs in the NHL an easier path since he may not be able to accomplish that with the Kings as long as Lizotte is around

I think that any eventual Chychrun-to-the-Kings trade is going to look substantially like this one. You can debate Walker vs Grans, or Turcotte vs Vilardi, or Andersson vs Anderson-Dolan or Spence, but these four elements seem reasonable and realistic.

Yep, the trade might be fair for both teams. Sorry bud, I disagree with your statement "Solid prospects that have no room". Well do they do have room, but the question is do the Kings think it better to "go for now" with a veteran Dman and give up future or wait for the futures to be better NHLers.

I'm partial to Vilardi, he's got a great shot and size and is a threat on the Powerplay that LA needs, plus he'd be the 3rd forward that is right handed other than Brown and Arvidsson in LA which is obscure but I don't think counts for nothing. I think LAs system has an over abundance of " average " size defenseman (6'0 - 200lbs) give or take and I think Grans size at only 19 may make him more coveted by the organization I would imagine compared to others. I like JAD and everything he brings but we'll have to wait and see what Blake does with Lizotte as I've mentioned in this post ad nauseum. Lol All this said, I agree it's reasonable and realistic to have any 4 of those prospects included in a deal. Just not these 3 that I listed, or at least I'd hope if I had to choose . Lol
