I think he would look really good next to Provorov though. Allow Provy to work on his defensive game cause it's where he takes chances on his pinching and puck handling that gets him in trouble. Once he gets back to his defensive basics, he can start to do a bit more and i don't think Barrie would be a bad person to learn from. He average .5 points per game and can still run a power play. his cap hit isn't terrible either. He's literally one season removed from 48 points in 56 games, being a plus player on a terrible defensive team, and averaging over 21 mins a night.
