The Leafs themselves have said they don't think they have the assets to acquire him. I still think he gets traded but it's gonna be for an absolute fortune.

I think it's more that they don't want to give up the assets to acquire him- or that other teams prospects / draft position to get him would be more favorable.

Both Jim Rutherford and Patrick Allvin have said the Canucks aren’t rebuilding. They are re-tooling. They want to re-sign JT Miller. You can argue with the process but reality is the Canucks would rather keep miller than trade him and that means any deadline deal will have to be an overpayment

If it’s a fair deal Canucks won’t do it. Management puts too much value on Miller’s on ice play to trade him at market value.

If a team wants him they have to overpay otherwise Canucks will just keep him

Yes that would be multiple. This year and next year is more than one, which is multiple by definition.

Do you think his value will be the same at the draft as it is at the deadline or do you think it will go down because he will only have one year left?
