Vancouver would probably want Pelletier over Zary. Not sure though

That doesn't get you Miller. Pelletier, and a 1st is the starting point

I can't speak to the values in those deals - adding Miller probably complicates the Flames' salary cap for the summer by quite a bit - but I'm absolutely annoyed at how well of a season Calgary is having. The entire thing just works together. I can't explain it.

Personally if I had to make the call on those deals, I probably don't. I think the Flames realistically just need depth for a deep run. Essentially, replacements for the bottom 3 or 4 names on the roster and they're going to have a hell of a run.

I mean it came out that Pelletier wasn’t involved in Eichel talks but yeah… for one year of career 0.68 PPG JT Miller.. I’m sure.

Top 10 in scoring currently and has been over a PPG in Vancouver. But sure let's bring up his point totals from 8 years ago. He's also got two years left on his contract.

Top ten on a bad team... he gets more ice time, more pp time... lots of average players get lots of points playing big min on bad teams doesn't mean it's going to happen in calgary... why do you think Tampa traded him...

This is the dumbest reply I've ever read. No sh*t 1st line players get more ice time he averages 20-21 minutes a game like pretty much every single 1st line forward in the league it's not like he's playing 30 minutes a night lol. Also, the fact that he plays on a bad team should mean he gets less support and gets the harder matchups, you conveniently forgot to bring that up.

I said career. Not 8 years ago. He has one full season left on his contract, you trying to act like it’s two shows how insecure you are in your notion that he’s worth Pelletier and a 1st when Jack Eichel wasn’t worth that to the Flames brass. If that’s what a Canucks GM expects he can stay a top ten scorer on a non playoff team until his contract runs out, that’s probably fine around the league.

No one playing Vancouver matches lines.... you only do that against good teams....
