While Severson has decent trade value, it is not remotely that high, this is like when Habs fans said they were 100% getting Pelletier++ for Toffoli

Oilers reject, are not in as desperate need for a top 4 RHD as people think, at least not for this price, don't get me wrong severson would be nice but Holloway and broberg will be key to oilers success on ELC deals next year and even this year. Id rather give up a uncertain first round pick but I can see why NJ wouldn't want that over two A prospects

What is the Devils prospect to Ottawa like? As Maxence Guennette is reasonably close to an NHL job and is a right shot d so I don't think that we would put him in this sort of package.

Subban doesn't have any value. The cost of getting a 3rd team to retain on him to make his cap manageable is more than the Devils would get back in a trade.
