This has been a rough season but as long as we have Ovechkin we won't tank so now we're just going to be a mediocre team at best and make bad decisions trading away picks and prospects just to make the playoffs every year with Ovechkin

Not that I don't like the idea, but I don't see where Sheary fits into the Wild lineup. Maybe next year if we move Fiala, but right now there's literally nowhere for him to play except the 4th line and we have 4 guys (5 if you include Mason Shaw) already on the roster to play on the 4th who are all cheaper.

I'm severely conflicted by that Carlson proposal. A 30+ defenseman, by and large, isn't a need given our rebuild timetable. And the tail end of that contract is scary, to say the least. But RD in general is a really critical need, and JOHN ****ING CARLSON.
