If the leafs are trading for Flower, why are they also trading for Allen? The team wouldn't carry three goalies, Campbell would have to be moved too. I can't see the team starting from scratch in net at the trade deadline.

Also, giving up a first and Mrazek for a rental goalie that likely won't be back next season is a little steep, I can't see that happening. I know most leaf haters on this site treat Mrazek as a cap dump that you would need to pay a team to take, but his play hasn't been as bad lately, and sure he is a little overpaid, it is certainly not the albatross contract that haters suggest. In the event that the leafs traded for fleury, I can see the hawks wanting Mrazek in the return, since they do not have much in their goalie pipeline as options for next season. Mrazek would give them at least one veteran option for the next 2 seasons who has spent some time in the league.

Seems like on CF once a player gets a reputation it's hard to shake. Actually Mrzarek may be the Leafs starter over Campbell some. So while the Leafs may/may not traded for a goalie, it's time for Campbell and Mrzarek to play their best.

On this post.....in what world do the Leafs need Yandle?

Seeing as how Yandle shouldn’t be worth more than a 7th round pick, Philly takes this and runs with it

Very true, players cannot shake a reputation on this site, whether its undervalued or overvalued. If a player is having a bad stretch on this site, especially a leaf player, their contract becomes a cap dump and leafs have to pay a team to take it off their hands.

I kind of missed the yandle trade the first time around, I was taken back by the goalie trades. In what universe is Yandle worth all that, in additon to having no need for him.
