I was never a fan of this draft, but they still haven’t necessarily proved themselves yet to be good imo

It’s all good, he has played all 3 forward positions in the NHL, but the majority of his games are at LW. A career under 40% faceoff percentage will quickly push a guy to the wing.

To be fair Kostin has 38 games this season and has 9 points, Texier has played 36 and has 20 points. It might be his first crack at the NHL, but he still hasn’t done a heck of a lot of anything. I’m not saying he’s a bad player or he won’t be a good NHL player, it’s just as of now Texier has had a better NHL career and that’s what this post is about.

Lol, right now it’s 0 because Texier is injured. Kostin is at 9:12 ATOI and Texier is 14:36 ATOI, Columbus is also not as deep as STL and they aren’t as competitive either, so Columbus rolls their lines a lot more.

Kostin also has a 55% OZS compared to Texier at a 75% DZS.
